From our humble beginnings in 1985 that were sketched out on Ron Blank’s mother’s kitchen table, a vision was conceptualized for connecting architects and building product manufacturers in a way that had not been done before. Since that moment, Ron Blank has created a multi-platformed suite of services for building product manufacturers and design professionals that aim to connect, educate and energize the professional goals of those who engage them.

Ron Blank is the visionary founder and driving force behind Ron Blank and Associates (RBA), the leading resource for building product manufacturers to get their products specified in the industry. With a passion for empowering manufacturers and architects alike, Ron has revolutionized the way products are selected and specified in the construction industry.
Ron Blank started his company in 1985 based on one underlying mission, to bridge the gap between design professionals and product manufacturers. Ron launched the first AIA online education platform in the AEC industry in 2000. Eventually Ron’s company would be the only AIA platform provider to win two national AIA continuing education awards.
Under Ron’s leadership, RBA has become the go-to platform for manufacturers seeking to navigate the intricate world of architectural product specification. Through his unwavering dedication, Ron has built a vibrant ecosystem that connects manufacturers with architects, providing them with the tools, resources, and strategies needed to achieve their product selection goals.
Brad Blank is the co-founder of Elixir Environmental, a pioneering sustainability company that specializes in assisting manufacturers in getting their products specified for LEED projects. With a unique blend of expertise in sustainability, media production, and marketing, Brad has revolutionized the way manufacturers approach sustainable design and product specification.
Brad is a seasoned professional and a true road warrior, having dedicated five years of his career to making an astounding 600 product presentations annually to AEC firms. He has helped building product manufacturers increase their specification opportunities for over 20 years. He understands first-hand the importance of being able to offer proof of a product’s sustainability claims.
Brad has served as the Vice-President of GreenCE and created several continuing education case studies on award winning LEED Platinum Net Zero buildings. As Brad continues to lead the way in sustainable design and product specification, he remains dedicated to driving positive change in the industry. Through his unwavering commitment to innovation, education, and collaboration, he is shaping a more sustainable future for design professionals and manufacturers.
